Descending the hill was my favorite part 😆😆

Overall, it was a really good experience! The hike was beginner-friendly, just as advertised, so it was genuinely a case of getting exactly what I signed up for. 😊 Some of the footpaths were closed, but I actually enjoyed how we turned that into a little adventure, figuring out alternative routes and finding our way back onto the trail. The cave experience was great, the drive was lovely, and the people were all good vibes. All in all, it was a fun, relaxed experience with a nice balance of adventure and good company. Definitely a good time!

The hike was an interesting yet challenging one. Interesting, obviously cause of the group and challenging mostly cause some of the trails were blocked, so we had to take a detour at some point before getting back on the trail. There's a steep start and finish on the trail, but the rest was mostly flat, so it was very beginner-friendly. We also visited the Holy Austin Rock Houses - sandstone caves from 1617 that were expanded into multi-level rock houses (there are about 3 levels). Definitely a must-see!
